Which fabric should I choose?
A good rule of thumb: blockout for bedrooms and media rooms, light filtering for living spaces, and sunscreen where you want to keep a view while cutting glare. Compare the three fabrics above, then at your free consultation we'll hold real samples up in your rooms and settle it in minutes.
Will blockout make my room 100% dark?
The fabric itself blocks 100% of light. It's the small gaps around the edges that let light creep in. A reveal-fit blind leaves a 2–4mm gap each side, while a face-fit blind overlaps the architrave for a much tighter seal. Optional side tracks take you to true blackout, ideal for shift workers and media rooms. See the fitting diagrams above, and we'll recommend the right setup for each room at your consult.
How much do roller blinds cost?
It depends on window size, fabric and how many blinds you need. That's exactly why our quote is free, done in your home and put in writing. Fixed price, no hidden fees, and you can mix fabrics to suit your budget.
Do I need to measure my windows first?
No, leave the tape measure to us. We measure every window as part of the free consultation, and because we measure, the perfect fit is on us.
How long until my blinds are installed?
Typically 2–4 weeks from your final check-measure to installation. We keep you updated at every step of your order, and once your blinds are ready we book the install in advance, on a day and time that suits you.
Are roller blinds safe for kids and pets?
Yes. Everything we fit complies with Australian child-safety standards, and chain tensioners are fitted as standard. Prefer no chains at all? Ask us about chainless and motorised options at your consultation.
What warranty do you offer?
A 3-year warranty covering fabric and mechanism, plus our workmanship guarantee, both in writing with your quote.
Do you do shutters and curtains too?
We do. Plantation shutters and curtains are custom-made and fitted just like our blinds. Mention them when you book and we'll bring those samples along to the same consultation, so one visit covers the whole home.
Can I mix fabrics through the house?
Absolutely, most homes do. Blockout in the bedrooms, sunscreen in the living areas, light filtering in between. We can even pair blockout and sunscreen on a single window (a double roller) for the best of both, day and night.
